About Me:
My father did not believe in educating his daughters. He wanted us to marry, have children and take care of a home. In my sophmore year in high school we were asked to write a profile of ourselves. In that profile I compared myself to Abe Lincoln and said my goal was to be a nun by day and a pole stripper by night. I was summoned to the counsel office and it was disclosed to me that I was on drugs and that all my study halls would be spent in the counseling center helping kids that needed help. A year went by and my older brother funked out of college but my cousin Dorothy made it through her first year. Not to be outdone by my uncle - my father turned my school inside out to change my roster of classes. I went from sewing class into the second session of trig. One first day in the class of all boys - the teacher stopped for a prayer. The nun said to the class - I do not know what sickness your father has but I have known your for a year and you are a solid student so I allowed you into my class. I will give you all the support that I can but I believe you don't have a chance in hell of passing this course. Let us all pray for Denise that the spirit of God helps her. I got a solid B and went on to college. I was the lucky one. My three other sisters work in grocery stores. I know that my IQ is pretty high so I try things that other consultants don't even thing off.
