About Me:
My career in Electronics started in the service, my MOS was 1142 Electrical Repair Specialist. As a civilian my electronic background ranged from retail, to manufacturing. When I applied for a job at Notifier/Firelite by Pittway (later purchased by Honeywell) as an electrical technician the job was already taken. The manager who interviewed me noticed I knew a few things about PC's so within a few weeks I was working in the programming cell. Returned back to college for an associates degree in computer science. A few more certifications in Network+, NICET level I, & II and I ended up in the Tecnical Support Dept. for their Facilities Monitoring Systems. I did a few years in the FireLite FACP Tech Support in the beginning.
Hobbies:
Building Computers, Blogging, Reading, Although a geek at heart, I love the outdoors...I'm very active.
Favorite Movies:
There are so many! Flags of Our Fathers, We Were Soldiers, Saints & Soldiers, All the comics movies that have come out in the last decade (except Electra)
Favorite TV Shows:
CSI (Not Miami-I hate Caruso) Law & Order, The Unit, Army Wives, a few others (not reality shows)
Favorite Music:
Classic Rock, Southern Rock, Blues, Jazz, and a few Rap Songs...Yup Rap! I can't understand it either. There are a few that actually say something.
