I hate this system. I bought it (split 4 ways in my apartment) and it kept breaking. We sent it back 4 times, got it back, then it broke again. They kept saying they were sending up new ones, and I think they were lying because it simply kept breaking. The last time it broke, we sent it in, got it back, kept it in the sealed packaging from Microsoft and sold it on Ebay. A week later, we got an email from the dude on Ebay saying the Xbox was broken. Then WE had to pay for him to send it in. Never again will I buy anything Xbox related. Im stickin with Wii.

this is one of my favorite systems. I might have had its technical issues in the begining but they had the recall and they are doing ok now. The Xbox 360 is great for two reasons.....

    Halo 3

    Guitar hero 2

The best console to come out, a lot has to do with Halo 3. Great graphics and no problems for me and I am a happy customer. Price does hurt the pocket a little bit but definitely worth it and better than buying a PS3.

My son has the Xbox 360 and had a problem with it freezing up due to overheating. Since it was out of warranty, I opened it up and blew out all the dust. It has been working fine ever since. He also had trouble with the Xbox, the CD drive failed and I had to replace it. For myself, I would stick with Nintendo. We have never had a problem with any Nintendo product.

i've been a gamer since i was old enough to hold a controller, games have evolved to the next extreme. i really enjoy the online multiplayer games on the xbox live, i also enjoy the selection of games, and the customization of making it your own. i give the xbox 360, five stars because i find it to be amazing!

I love my 360 but in the few years it's been out I'll be on my 4th one. It has it's share of issues, but I love it. The online community is unbeatable compared to the Wii and PS2 or PS3. I couldn't live without it. And more people I know have it, so having heads over to play multiplayers is the best.

I love my 360. It's very compact and can either be placed vertically or horizontal to fit into any space. Much smaller than the original XBox. The wireless controller is great, and batteries last a long time. I think I played for 40 hrs. without having to change them. The only downside is you have to buy the memory pack seperately. What's the point of having the system if you can't save anything? I know you can buy it included (increasing the price), but a memory system should come included.

Personally, I'm in love with the Xbox360, it's got all the exclusives on games, punches a powerful blow, and contains a sleek, modern look.

    PROS:
    * Constant improvements - Microsoft is constantly looking to upgrade the product and completely take away the idea of a next gen console but instead by making a better and better 360.
    * Easy to access - External Harddrive makes it easy to remove in case of repairs or other reasons. Three ways to Manually eject the Disc tray in case it gets "stuck"
    * Neat - Don't like all the mess of cables, well the 360 is good at keeping it wireless.
    * Hot Exclusives - The 360 definitely has some of the hottest exclusives right now, I can hardly sit still thinking about whats to come.
    * Best Online Gaming by far. One thing Xbox has always been good with is setting up a good structure for online gaming. Ones ability to customize there gaming experience is unmatched by any of the next-gen systems (Which is probably why you have to pay for it) Some think its worth it, some don't. And though I don't like paying, I certainly think it makes the online features better.
    * Special online features - arcade games, downloadable demos, movies, shows, trailers and more, messenger, and a sort of community aspect to the whole online game play.
    * Community - Fun filled gaming community, what more could you want. Though sometimes the community can be disrespectful, there are always means to resolve this issue. You could always file against the player as well as block them.

    CONS: (yeah, there are some)
*Reliability - Because the way the 360 was set up, it seems to have issues with over heating, causing the infamous issue of the three red lights, which in this event, means there has been a Hardwear error. In the past the cause has been because of numerous amount of heating (That's why a lot of times it freezes up before). Xbox is working on a way to fix this and has made man attempts to make it up to the customer, such as extending there warranty for this specific issue to 3 years (Given the 360 hasn't even been out that long)
    * Live Updates = Live crashes? Often times after an update there are issues with the live service, this is understandable as there is a few kinks they have to work out. During the holidays, a record amount of people joined the Live servers and the servers weren't able to handle the amount of traffic and crashed momentarily. On the plus side though, 360 went to work right away to resolve the issue by pulling up more servers.

RECOMMENDED W/ 360: Play and Charge Kit

This system was more overhyped than Halo 2. Evey single person I know who has one has had the RROD at least once. My cousin is on his third one already. You also need to get a separate attachment to play hd movies. The games look like last gen games with the exception of a few.

THis system is by far the leader of the pack. I own the elite system and couldn't be happier. The picture is crystal clear. I understand some of you have had bad luck with broken ones, but what gaming system hasn't been rushed to meet "our" needs. Yes the Wii is fun to put us in a child state of mind. The PS3 can offer you Sony only games. The 360 does it all. With the most games to choose from and the best price points.

This is one of the best consoles I have ever had, besides the PC that is, all the games are in HD, and the games are provided with bragging rights; achievement points to show off to your buddy list.

Great system. XBox Live sucks, and any Microsoft is over controled. Otherwise a good system to own.
