InsideTech is improving the way we calculate your reputation score and award reputation points. These improvements will include a recalculation of your previous score to ensure accuracy. Previously we calculated scores with a “diminishing return” system, making it harder for reputation leaders to increase their scores as they accrued points. Going forward, you will receive points for each and every action you take, using the scoring system listed below:

Making Friends

Each Added Friend = 5

New Member Invites = 10

Posting Content

News Articles = 5

Videos = 5

Photos = 2

Training Articles = 7

Interacting on Site

Commenting = 2

Receiving a Comment = 2

New Discussion Topic = 5

New Discussion Posts = 2

Receiving Other User’s Ratings = 2

Reviewing a Product = 2

Taking a Quiz = 2

Members with a high reputation score get special status. They get asked to

moderate the forums, receive free products for review, and more.

Having a high reputation also lets others know you're an active member of

the community and makes you more visible for career networking opportunities.

Reputation Status Requirements

Five stars: 50,000+ points

Four stars: 10,000+ points

Three stars: 2,000+ points

Two Stars: 400+ points

One Star: 80+ points

Have fun!

nicely done, however i think it's a bit impossible for anyone to reach 5 star at the rate that i've seen people using this community, it'll take 10 or 20 years to reach that many reputation points.

on another note I've also seen that the scoreboard has a few bugs.

isn't it supposed to remove points if you delete a picture/post?

well i deleted a pic or two cause it was a duplicate and it still left the points. (but then maybe it was designed to keep the points).
