TO ANYONE WHO DOES BANKING WITH THE TENNESSEE VALLEY FEDERAL CREDITY UNION:

I know we are all aware of the dangers of Phising emails that we receive on a regular basis. I just wanted to  bring everyone's attention to the events that have been happening in my area in the last few days.

It appears that someone has been sending Phising text messages to people making mention to their TVFCU accounts, telling people their accounts have been suspended because of unknown use. Please call the following number immediately. It seems that they have been targeting only Verizon Accounts, but I could be wrong. Everyone I know who has Verizon has gotten this message over the last day or so. Please be warned and warn others as it may spread to incorporate more Wireless companies and Financial institutions.

In this day and age we are all aware of things of this nature, however, my fiance's grandmother has a mobile phone and I worry that she would  be too trusting, call the number and give away any information they asked for.
